PARKS WITHIN UPPER MILFORD TOWNSHIP

Township residents have many recreation opportunities in Upper Milford and adjacent areas. This includes three Township parks:

1. Lenape Park - 6102 King's Highway South, Zionsville, PA 18092

2. Churchview Park - 4602 Kohler Road, Zionsville, PA 18092

3. Jasper Park - 4960 Vera Cruz Road North, Emmaus, PA 18049

Lenape and Jasper Parks both have a playground, ball field, picnic tables and a shelter. Churchview Park is a .25 mile track. Private recreation areas also exist in the Township for camping, hunting, fishing, swimming and other activities.

The Open Space Committee will be cancelling their meeting on Wednesday, February 10th, 2010 due to the impending snow. They will reconvene at their next scheduled meeting on Wednesday, March 10th, 2010.

02/18/10 BOS Workshop Meeting at 7:00 p.m. - The PA Turnpike Commission will be present to discuss expansion.

03/04/10 BOS Workshop Meeting at 7:00 p.m. - The Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing to discuss the draft Zoning Ordinance, SALDO Ordinance and Official Map.

03/18/10 BOS Regular Meeting at 7:30 p.m. - The Board of Supervisors will consider adoption of the Zoning Ordinance, SALDO Ordinance and the Official Map.

Baseball / Softball Signups:

Wednesday, January 20th from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and January 23rd from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Signups are at the OLD Upper Milford Township Building located at Churchview and King's Highway in Old Zionsville.
