NOTICE:  The permit forms have changed and they now require a $20 fee to be paid at the time of submitting a permit application. The fee paid will be deducted from the total application cost.

Part of living in a zoned community is the fact that zoning and building permits must be completed.  Whenever you need a permit or question its necessity you should contact Alan Brokate, Zoning Officer at 610.966.3223 to verify this information.

Processing Time:

The acceptance of a permit constitutes that all necessary paper work is submitted and is complete. The Zoning Officer has up to 15 business days to approve or deny a permit. The clock does not start ticking until all of the paper work is received.

Cost:

The Zoning Officer calculates the fee for your permit at the time of review. Once a permit has been approved the office staff will call you to notify you of the approval and the cost. At the time of picking up the permit you pay for your permit. The Township accepts cash and / or check; we do not accept credit cards.

Sedimentation and Erosion:

Is required if the project will disturb an area 5,000 square feet or more (approximately 71' x 71') and the applicant does not have an NPDES Permit.

Inspections

Inspections require a 24 hour notice prior to inspection.  Below is a list of the types of inspections to take place.

Applicants Responsibility:

It is the applicants responsibility to submit completed forms, the forms listed below as requirements or checklists are meant to be used as a guide, to ensure compliance you need to verify the information in the zoning ordinance.
