Welcome to Upper Milford Township

Upper Milford Township is a community of great scenic and rural character, near the southern corner of Lehigh County, south of Emmaus. The township is primarily a rural living environment 10 minutes from Allentown, 25 minutes from Bethlehem and 45 minutes from the edge of the expanding Philadelphia Metropolitan area. Routes 29 and 100 provide convenient access to the Allentown/Bethlehem area and to Route 309 and 22.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

There have been occasions where emergency services have not been able to find a home or location of an emergency situation because the homeowner or occupant did not have their address numbers posted. Please, for your own safety and protection, make sure that your house number is clearly visible at or from the street.

Reflective Address Markers

The Citizen's Fire Company and the Upper Milford Western District Fire Company are selling reflective address signs for a cost of $15. A sample of these signs can be seen at the Township Office along with a flyer. For more information you may contact Citizen's Fire Company or Upper Milford Western District Fire Company at (610) 966 - 3367 and speak with Mike Ruyak.

The Open Space Committee will be cancelling their meeting on Wednesday, February 10th, 2010 due to the impending snow. They will reconvene at their next scheduled meeting on Wednesday, March 10th, 2010.

02/18/10 BOS Workshop Meeting at 7:00 p.m. - The PA Turnpike Commission will be present to discuss expansion.

03/04/10 BOS Workshop Meeting at 7:00 p.m. - The Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing to discuss the draft Zoning Ordinance, SALDO Ordinance and Official Map.

03/18/10 BOS Regular Meeting at 7:30 p.m. - The Board of Supervisors will consider adoption of the Zoning Ordinance, SALDO Ordinance and the Official Map.
